Prof. Goh Chee Leok

Prof. Goh graduated from the medical school of the National University of Singapore in 1974. He obtained his post graduate degree in 1978 and was awarded a post doctoral degree in Doctor of Medicine in 1994. He is currently a Senior Consultant Dermatologist at the National Skin Centre and Clinical Professor of the Faculty of Medicine of the National University of Singapore and Adjunct Professor of LKC Med School, NTU. He was the Medical Director of the National Skin Centre, Singapore between 1990 and 2004.

He was past president of the Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery of Singapore and the Environmental and Occupational Dermatology Society of Singapore. He has published more than 300 scientific papers in peer review journals and chapter contributor to numerous dermatology reference books and co-editor of several reference dermatology books and several educational books for the lay public.

Dr. Joyce Lim Teng Ee

Dr. Joyce Lim graduated from the University of Malaya, completed her internal medicine training and obtained her MCPI in 1987 and FRCPI in 1993. She worked as a medical specialist with the Ministry of Health, Malaysia till 1988.

She had her dermatology training at the National Skin Center, Singapore and was conferred Fellow of the Academy of Medicine (Dermatology) in 1992. She was a consultant at the National Skin Centre and was the Head of the Laser Surgery & Dermatologic Surgery division till 2000. She was an academic staff for the National University of Singapore from 1994 - June 2000 and was the past president of the Singapore Dermatological Society from 1996 - 2000.

She was a council member of the Asian Dermatological Congress (1992-2023), the League of Asean Dermatological Society and a, member of the Pigment Disorder Academy and involved in the Singapore Medical Council Certification of Competence Course for Aesthetic Dermatology. Dr. Lim has published several articles in laser surgery as well as in pigmentary disorders and currently in private practice at Joyce Lim Skin and Laser Clinic, Singapore.

Dr. Nancy Garcia Tan

A University Scholar & Cum Laude graduate of the University of the East, she obtained her medical degree in 1986 from the University of the East-Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center (UERMMMC). She graduated with the Award of Distinction from the University of London - St. John's Institute of Dermatology and had subspecialty training for Dermatologic Lasers & Surgery from the National Skin Center, Singapore, University of Mahidol, Thailand and the Dermatology Associates of San Diego, CA, USA.

She received her M.B.A. degree from the Ateneo-Regis Executive MBA Program of the Ateneo Graduate School of Business & Regis University Colorado, USA in 2014. She was Chairperson of the Phil. Board of Dermatology from 2002-2004, a Board Examiner of the Phil. Dermatological Society (PDS) for five years, serving as Board Secretary from 2000-2002. She was a PDS Board Director (2002 – 2004, 2019-2022), Past Chair of the PDS Academic Cluster (CME, Research); Past Head PDS Committee on Subspecialties & Health Information System, and Project author of Learning Modules On Demand (LeMODE).

She is the current Chief, Section of Dermatology, Cardinal Santos Medical Center; Medical Director of MedDERM Asia Laser & Surgicentre, and Consultant- University of the East, Ramon Magsaysay Medical Center.

Dr. Gangaram Hemandas

Dr. Gangaram Hemandas graduated from the University of Malaya in 1978, obtained his MCP (UK, MRCP (Ireland) in 1989 & FRCP (UK) in 2001. He had his dermatology training at the Department of Dermatology, Hospital Kuala Lumpur (1986), St John's Institute of Dermatology, London (1987-88), and obtained his Diploma of Dermatology in 1988. He was the founder and head of the Laser & Dermatologic Surgery Unit in Hospital Kuala Lumpur (1994-2008). He had his fellowship training in Dermatologic Laser and Surgery in National Skin Centre, Singapore, Mahidol University, Ramathibodi Hospital, Thailand, and Dept of Dermatology, Boston University School of Medicine, USA.

He was the past president of the Dermatological Society of Malaysia (2004-06), Past Chairman, Cosmetic Dermatology & Laser Medicine Board of Malaysia (2006- 2012), Past Head, Laser & Dermatosurgery Unit, Dept. of Dermatology, Hospital Kuala Lumpur. He is currently a Consultant at the Prince Court Medical Centre, Kuala Lumpur and Visiting Consultant at Thomson Hospital, Selangor, Malaysia.

Prof. Niwat Polnikorn

Dr. Niwat earned his B.Sc. in Medical Sciences from Mahidol University in 1972 and his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Faculty of Medicine, Ramathibodi Hospital, in 1974. He later became a Diplomate of the Thai Board of Dermatology in 1978, obtained a Diplomate in Venereology from King’s College, University of London, in 1980, and earned a Diplomate of the American Board of Cosmetic Laser Surgery in 2014. His solid academic background laid the foundation for his distinguished career in dermatology and aesthetic medicine.

He was a Lecturer and Assistant Professor in the Division of Dermatology at Ramathibodi Hospital, where he eventually became Chief of the Dermatologic Surgery Unit and later Clinical Professor in Dermatology at Mahidol University. Beyond academia, he served as Consultant Dermatologic Surgeon at Bumrungrad International Hospital and Director of the Kasemrad Aesthetic Center. As the Founder and first President of the Thai Society of Cosmetic Dermatology and Surgery, Dr. Niwat has played a vital role in advancing dermatologic and laser surgery practices in Thailand and the region. Dr. Niwat serves as the Medical Director of Dr. Niwat’s Skin and Laser Clinic.
